Investing in one’s sexual fitness can lead to better communication, intimacy, and overall satisfaction in your romantic relationships. A healthy sex life can contribute to stronger emotional connections with your partner.

·      Boosted Confidence: Developing sexual fitness can boost your self-confidence and self-esteem. When you feel more confident in your sexual abilities , it can positively affect other areas of your life as well, such as your career and social interactions.

·      Better Physical Health: Sexual health is a path to maintaining good physical health. It’s a form of regular physical activity and, along with a healthy diet, can lead to improved stamina and energy levels, which can enhance your overall well-being and longevity.

·      Emotional Well-Being: Sexual activity can release endorphins and reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. A fulfilling sex life can contribute to a more balanced emotional state and increased overall happiness.

Pregnancy, childbirth and raising children are all huge life experiences which change us both individually and as a couple. Having strong tools for communication and intimacy will support you and your partner as you enter this exciting and different stage of life.

·      Personal Growth: Exploring your own sexuality and understanding your desires and boundaries can be a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. It can lead to a deeper understanding of yourself and your needs and this can ultimately lead to a happier and more fulfilling life as you become more comfortable and accepting of all parts of yourself.

It's important to note that working on sexual fitness doesn't solely mean focusing on physical aspects but also emotional and psychological ones. It involves developing a healthy relationship with your own sexuality, understanding and respecting the needs and boundaries of yourself and your partner(s), and cultivating a positive and fulfilling sexual experience. Ultimately, the decision to work on your sexual fitness is a personal one, and its significance varies from person to person. However, for many individuals, it can contribute to a more satisfying and fulfilling life, both in and out of the bedroom.

Is The Adamo Method for me?

The Adamo Method is tailored for a wide range of couples who are interested in elevating their sexual satisfaction, enhancing their relationship dynamics, and enriching their overall emotional and psychological well-being.

If you find that you are encountering difficulties or dissatisfaction in the areas of sexual satisfaction, relationship dynamics, and overall well-being, The Adamo Method could be a strategic avenue for addressing these issues. Additionally, even if you are not dissatisfied but are looking to maximize your pleasure and deepen your emotional and sexual connection, the program offers elements designed to elevate your relationship to new heights. This makes it ideal for couples who are committed to both solving challenges and enriching their journey of self-discovery and mutual growth.

I already have a satisfying sex life. Can I still join?

Certainly! The Adamo Method extends its benefits not just to couples experiencing sexual or relational challenges, but also to those who are content yet aspire for more profound intimacy and enhanced sexual connection.

You might be under the impression that your sexual satisfaction has reached its peak, but sexual wellness is a multi-faceted domain with untapped potential for most individuals. It's a common misconception to measure sexual satisfaction merely by the absence of discomfort or the ability to reach climax. But there's so much more to explore! With Adamo, we'll help you discover new layers of pleasure, intimacy, and connection you didn't even know were possible.

How does The Adamo Method differ from traditional sex therapy?

Adamo Therapy offers a comprehensive, evidence-based approach that integrates the latest advancements in psycho-sexual research, technology, and neuroscience.

Unlike traditional sex therapy that often primarily focuses on resolving particular sexual dysfunctions or relationship issues, Adamo adopts a holistic model. We consider not just the physical or psychological facets but also the relational, emotional, and educational aspects of sexual well-being.

Moreover, Adamo uniquely emphasizes mastery of penetrative techniques, aiming to fill a gap that traditional methods often overlook. This focus is backed by scientific rationale, aiming to counteract the misguided practices often adopted from non-educational sources like pornography. Our program is also designed to be more adaptive and personalized. Through a mix of therapy, education, and real-time feedback, Adamo aims to provide a therapeutic experience tailored to the specific needs and dynamics of each couple.

How is The Adamo Method different from watching educational or self-help videos?

While educational or self-help videos can offer valuable insights, they lack the
guidance and clinical expertise of Adamo. Our program is led by a psychosexual psychologist and a psychosomatic sex coach, Saida Desilets, PhD and Aaron Michael, MA,  who will provide weekly live sessions based on a deep understanding of psychosexual health. The structured nature of the program, combined with ongoing live support, allows for the identification and treatment of issues that generic resources simply cannot address. Unlike a static video, our therapy evolves with you, adapting to the changing dynamics of your relationship and sexual well-being.

How long is the program, and what is the time commitment?

The Adamo Method spans a duration of two months, encompassing more than 15 hours of on-demand, prerecorded educational content that participants can engage with at their own pace. Additionally, the program includes eight weekly live online sessions to facilitate real-time interaction and guidance.

Outside of these sessions, we encourage participants to allocate approximately 20 minutes for practice 3-4 times a week—or alternatively, 5-10 minutes daily—to effectively implement the exercises presented in the lessons. In total, the program will require a commitment of approximately 2 to 2.5 hours per week, including time spent in group meetings, reviewing educational material, and performing exercises.

It's important to emphasize that The Adamo Method is not a quick fix; it is an investment in your personal and relational well-being. While the program demands effort and commitment, the end result promises to be a meaningful enhancement in your sexual and emotional life, making the investment well worth your time.

Can single individuals join The Adamo Method program?

As of now, the Adamo Therapy Program is exclusively designed for couples. However, if you are single and interested in our therapeutic approach, we invite you to register your details with us. We are actively working on developing a program tailored for singles and will reach out to you once it becomes available!

Are there any age restrictions for joining the program?

This program is 18+ and we anticipate people from all ages and experience levels to join us. In fact, this program is particularly good for individuals who are looking to improve their sex life after many years of marriage. Furthermore, it is a program that is also suitable for premenopausal and menopausal women as well as older men with normal sexual function. The main caveat being that if a woman is perimenopausal or menopausal or a man is experiencing andropause, we would recommend a full hormonal workup to determine whether hormone replacement would benefit this individual if they had symptoms of sexual dysfunction.

We're a couple looking to start a family. Is The Adamo Method suitable for us?

Yes, The Adamo Method can be a valuable experience for couples planning to conceive. The program focuses on improving sexual satisfaction and emotional intimacy, which can create a more favorable environment for conception. However, it's important to consult with your healthcare provider for personalized advice tailored to your unique needs and circumstances, especially if you're actively trying to conceive.

Please note that Adamo does not take responsibility for unintended pregnancies. If contraception is a concern for you, we strongly recommend consulting with your healthcare provider for the most appropriate birth control methods tailored to your needs.

We're not planning on having children right now. What should we consider about birth control during the program?

If you're not planning on having children at the moment, effective contraception is crucial during The Adamo Method training. One approach is cycle tracking to understand your fertility patterns, but this method can be combined with other forms of contraception for maximum efficacy. We recommend non-barrier methods like intrauterine devices (IUDs), hormonal contraceptives, or diaphragms, as these are less likely to interfere with sexual function compared to barrier methods like condoms. However, it's essential to consult with your healthcare provider to choose a contraceptive method that is best suited to your unique medical history and needs. Keep in mind that Adamo does not take responsibility for unintended pregnancies.

I think I have severe sexual trauma or depression. Should I participate?

If you're dealing with severe sexual trauma or significant depressive symptoms, The Adamo Method may not be the most appropriate first step for you. We strongly recommend that you seek the guidance of healthcare professionals who specialize in these areas for an individualized treatment plan tailored to your needs. The Adamo Method is designed to enhance sexual and relational well-being but is not a substitute for specialized medical or psychological intervention for severe trauma or depression.

I and/or my partner are dealing with mild depression. Can The Adamo Method still be beneficial for us?

Yes, The Adamo Method aims to improve sexual satisfaction and emotional intimacy, which can have positive effects on overall well-being. However, it's crucial to understand that while the program may contribute to an improved sense of wellness, it is not a substitute for specialized mental health care. If depression or low well-being is a primary concern for you or your partner, we recommend also consulting with a healthcare provider or therapist for targeted treatment alongside your participation in The Adamo Method.

My partner and/or I are currently on antidepressants or ADHD medications. Should we join?

Yes, you are welcome to join The Adamo Method. It's worth noting that while medications like antidepressants (specifically SSRIs) can have an impact on sexual function—such as reducing libido or affecting arousal and orgasm—these effects are not universal. Many people do not experience significant changes in their sexual functioning while on these medications. If you have been taking antidepressants for an extended period and haven't noticed a marked decrease in your libido or sexual function, you may not experience this side effect while participating in the program.

Similarly, ADHD medications are stimulants that can sometimes increase arousal or libido. However, this effect is not the same for everyone. If you've been on ADHD medication for a while and haven't noticed a significant impact on your sexual arousal, it's likely that the program's outcomes won't be heavily influenced by your medication.

Given the complexities of how these medications interact with sexual function, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider to fully understand how these medications may affect your experience with the Adamo Program. This consultation will provide you with a more comprehensive perspective, allowing you to make an informed decision about your participation.

I'm concerned about privacy. How do you ensure confidentiality?

We take your privacy and confidentiality very seriously.  If you're concerned about maintaining your anonymity during the program, you'll have the option to use a consistent pseudonym (or fake name) during the group sessions. Additionally, you can choose to keep your camera turned off to protect your identity. These measures are available to ensure your comfort and privacy.

However, you're also welcome to use your real name and turn on your camera during group sessions if you prefer! Many participants find that sharing their experiences openly in group sessions fosters a sense of community and belonging, which can be a valuable part of the overall experience. It's important to note that if you choose this option, you will lose anonymity with respect to other participants in the program. Either way, the choice is yours, and we aim to create a safe and secure environment for all participants.
